Max tailored a creative custom day for 2: a friend who was quite new to ropes systems in general, and me wanting to better myself with multi pitch anchor systems and trad pro placement. Quite a contrast, that Max was able to blend seamlessly into a full day of efficient education for both of us. Alongside the professionalism and care for safety, he seemed to enjoy our ridiculous senses of humor, and joked and laughed with us all day. 10/10, will hire in the future!

I was in a group of 5 learning trad/alpine climbing skills for 3rd through 5th class terrain. We did an 8 hour session which worried me about how much information I could retain over the course of the session. Max’s structure for the session was incredible and made the learning and retention a breeze! He coupled technical knowledge with an emphasis on our own intuition and judgement empowering me and the group to better assess our situations and make the safest and most efficient decisions depending on the protection we need in mountain environments. In short, it far exceeded my expectations for the session and am excited to practice and put my new skills to use!
