Trip: Mount Baker w/Sarah Janin

Guide: Sarah J.

Sarah did an incredible job leading our trip, and making it into a fun and challenging experience despite some adverse weather. She is incredibly professional and positive, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a climbing, snow, or alpine guide!

Trip: RMNP Overnight with Alpine Objective

Guide: Ryan P.

We had a great 2 day overnight training session to refresh old skills and learn some new ones. We spent time honing snowshoeing and crampons skills, self-arrest techniques, and setting up a snow camp. Ryan's extensive experience and skills were evident and he patiently helped us with gearing up, learning knots, and working thru roped travel on flat and steep terrain. His concern for our safety was always obvious - we shifted to 'plan b' when he judged snow conditions to be a bit less than optimal... and explained why. He made the training fun. A great experience that boosted confidence for our upcoming Andean adventure. Thanks Ryan!

Trip: Single Pitch Instructor Course

Guide: Japhy D.

Japhy was an excellent instructor! His calm and present demeanor allowed for lots of low stress, and very valuable learning. His programming was intuitive and well designed. I was having a hard week, so i’m not sure i was quite myself, but i felt safe nonetheless.
