We are always looking to improve our climbing, so he showed us several ways to improve our technique, and was very supportive. My friends and I had Max as an instructor for an AIARE course. We thought he was great, so when a group of us wanted to try rock climbing, we hired him for a full day of beginner rock climbing instruction. He was wonderful, had a great mix of useful instruction but also allowed us to do our own thing. I learned a lot from him and highly recommend him.
