Tommy was an excellent guide - super knowledgeable, and able to adjust class based on the participants' needs and experience. He was very good at regularly checking in to assess how we were absorbing information and what would work best. I appreciated his attentiveness to our goals. I learned so much useful information, and would highly recommend taking these courses to improve safety and ability to troubleshoot different situations outdoors. Experience will definitely cement your skills but you can learn so much in a few hours that might take several years of climbing to learn, and often you wouldn't learn some of the skills at all without being taught.

From start to finish this was an incredible experience. Communication was clear and ongoing from the start, and then we met Tommy. Not only was he super knowledgeable about climbing, but he was so well informed about the area, the land, the rocks we were climbing, and the mountains that surrounded us. I felt very safe climbing with him and I learned so much from Tommy. It was just a positive experience from start to finish and was definitely the highlight of our trip to Santa Fe.

We had an AMAZING TIME as a family. We had 3 adults and one kid all with different skill levels and Tommy accommodated all of us making it both fun and giving us that gentle encouragement to push our boundaries. I personally loved his background information on the area and the ability to climb in two different beautiful locations all in one day! Excellent climbing trip! Tommy provided just the right input/instructions for all levels of experience. It was fun and educational for my 12 year old daughter, with very little experience, and did not disappoint for my brother who is an avid climber with years of experience. I would highly recommend this guided rock climbing trip for anyone no matter you experience level or age.
