Our first rock climbing experience was phenomenal! It was super special that Erica was available to introduce our 10-year-old daughters to rock climbing. She was patient, kind, and exceptionally knowledgeable. The equipment was in excellent condition and we always felt safe.

Had a great day with Erica, who structured our climbing to improve the skills I identified. Diablo Canyon was a fun place to climb. Erica was patient and helpful as a guide. This was our first experience with YMGs; it won't be our last!

Tommy was an excellent guide - super knowledgeable, and able to adjust class based on the participants' needs and experience. He was very good at regularly checking in to assess how we were absorbing information and what would work best. I appreciated his attentiveness to our goals. I learned so much useful information, and would highly recommend taking these courses to improve safety and ability to troubleshoot different situations outdoors. Experience will definitely cement your skills but you can learn so much in a few hours that might take several years of climbing to learn, and often you wouldn't learn some of the skills at all without being taught.
