The guides were great and enjoyed the trip The one downside is that we had major mechanical issues with the can( overheating) which apparently was a recognized issue before we went out We should have had a different vehicle Very very disappointed that Western Spirits was not more proactive on this. I expected more from the company

Ben & Avery did a great job. Got some bad intel on the trip from the back office -- more climbing then staff told us and the tent we rented that was confirmed to hold a cot, didn't. Ended up sleeping on the ground, which I was trying to avoid. Still loved the trip, but disappointed the multiple conversations I had with the office staff didn't better prepare me for what we were about to do. FYI... Daily descriptions on the website were entirely different than reality. Trip is still a must-do, but be prepared to climb an average of 1,300 feet a day with some days being way more. The day described as 48 miles downhill includes a 15-mile, 1,900 foot climb with no shade. Do-able, but tough. Food was great. Guides were amazing. Trip was awesome --just more of a grind than we trained for. Still recommend.

Ben and Shane guided most of the trip as Clare became ill. This is our 5th WS trip and the guides are all and always outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable. They clearly like their jobs even though they are difficult and challenging. The trip itinerary was ideal to take advantage of the hot springs and also to allow for rest after a strenuous day of riding. Another WS trip that exceeded expectations.
