This trip significantly exceeded my expectations. Britney and Frank were outstanding guides. I can’t believe how hard they worked each day! The food they prepared was excellent and they were great company for all of the participants. Another very positive aspect of the trip was the fantastic group of people I had the privilege to ride with. We faced some challenges—torrential rain on the first day, trees blocking the road, and two intimidating climbs. No one whined or complained. Instead, the riders supported and encouraged one another. Western Spirit Cycling has a lot of experience and it shows. This was my first Western Spirit trip—it won’t be the last!

Trip: Backcountry Hot Springs

Enjoyed both our guides. They really worked hard to make it a great trip and the meals were great. Cycling on days 1 and 3 include some extended climbs that were pretty significant - 3000 and 4000 feet respectively. You really want a full suspension bike on the day 3 descent. Hot springs were not spectacular but were there. We had rain a few days and not just Tropical Storm Hillary, plan for rain any day. Day 5 started as clear but changed to thunderstorms and delayed our fight back to Hailey. I would gladly have any of these two guides again. I am looking forward to my next Western Spirit ride.
