Mojave Guides is an AMGA accredited guide service in Joshua Tree, California. This accreditation ensures that we are upholding the highest of industry standards, including rigorous and uniform guide training, compliance with state and federal law, and that we promote ethical business practices. This was only my second time outdoor climbing. I tried it 2 days earlier with another Mojave guides guide and loved it so much I wanted to try one more time on my vacation. It was just Hayden and me and he was a great guide: suggest great routes, he had good tips, and he kept it fun. Ending the day with the chasm of doom (after my arms were too tired to climb any more) was great. I will recommend Mojave guides to anyone coming to the area and will use them again when I come back to Joshua tree to learn more.

This was my first time every outdoor climbing after almost 2 years in the gym. Murf was a great and patient guide and we had a great time top roping multiple routes. It was so good I used Mojave guides 2 days later to try it again and I will use them again next time I’m back in the Joshua tree area.

We had the best time with Heather from Mojave Guides. She was a great guide and showed us a fantastic but also she built a great rapport with my ten year old. She kept her safe, gauged her ability without undermining her and encouraged her so that her skills grew. Our day in the park with Heather left me with the biggest smile on my face and all my cares released.

It was super cool to spend a 2nd day with Murph. He knows the history of Joshua Tree which is exciting for me as well as the names of the plants that we encountered. I had a ton of fun and it brought back memories of my youth. I’d recommend MG to anyone who asks and tell them to request Murph if they really want to have an amazing time.
