The staff at the Earthship Visitor Center were so friendly and knowledgeable. We did the self-guided tour and were so interested that we returned the next day for the full guided tour (which I would highly recommend).

A lot of good information. Wish we got to tour more structures including the nicer, more complete models to get a holistic picture. If you were interested in purchasing a earthship home, I feel like the tour of many structures still under construction may not have been as compelling. I would have loved to see a pheonix structure that were described as luxury but we couldn't tour.

We had seen the movie, Garbage Warrior, and have great admiration for the Earthship set of ideas and concerns for the Earth. My daughters knew this was at hi texture I was amazed by, so we traveled to Santa Fe for our annual trip together for tat reason—to celebrate my 80th year.
