It was one of the best and most unique experiences of our New Mexico trip. Seeing self-sustaining houses using recycled materials to create zero waste was truly amazing. We highly recommend this visit while in Taos.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience learning about the history, beauty, and stewardship of the Earthship community. Our 7 and 10 year old daughters were fascinated, and urged us to move in by the end of the experience. Our guides were expert longtime Earthship dwellers that truly brought a deeper connection to the mission. We are seriously tempted to do this someday. Highly recommended, don't hesitate.

The Earthship was unique; it is worth visiting at least once. The lecture in the beginning helped me to understand how the houses were built but was a bit too long. The three experimental houses that did not get finished due to issues were the only houses we saw. I think it would have been much more impressive to see a functioning & lived-in house.
