Start with a leisurely gravel stroll past weird Banyan trees and lush tropical plants in Moanalua Valley, then we cut up into the mountains. You could push on till the summit if you really want to suffer, which would make it a 9 mile hike, but you can cut off the mountain path early if you can survive until the end of the road sign. The fun does not stop there, because you rappel/scramble down the mountain side until you get into a bushwhacking style corn patch esque brush that you trek through until your weary legs make it back to the level and clear gravel covered valley trail. This takes you back to civilization and the cool tropical foliage! Once you make it back to the park make sure to have some fresh tropical fruit on hand to refresh yourself!
