My friends and I had Max as an instructor for an AIARE course. We thought he was great, so when a group of us wanted to try rock climbing, we hired him for a full day of beginner rock climbing instruction. He was wonderful, had a great mix of useful instruction but also allowed us to do our own thing. I learned a lot from him and highly recommend him.

Max tailored a creative custom day for 2: a friend who was quite new to ropes systems in general, and me wanting to better myself with multi pitch anchor systems and trad pro placement. Quite a contrast, that Max was able to blend seamlessly into a full day of efficient education for both of us. Alongside the professionalism and care for safety, he seemed to enjoy our ridiculous senses of humor, and joked and laughed with us all day. 10/10, will hire in the future!
