Started in 2014 by Tim and Michelle Borland and their three kids, the Bar SZ Ranch is a true family business with a mission to help others “forge their legacy.” Set on 2200-acres in its own valley with iconic California oak trees and golden hills; views of the surrounding mountains and Pinnacles National Park; and painted, sunlit skies, this working ranch offers a unique, destination experience with grit.

It was amazing! Beautiful ranch, wonderful people, yummy food. Perfect! Our boys ages 9 & 10 especially loved the shooting & archery range, and our daughter, age 12, loved hanging out with the horses. My husband Stephen and I loved seeing the sunset over the valley from the porch of the Ranch house. ❤️

Had a really nice day at the Bar SZ open house. Was so peaceful out there and the property was very extensive! Just the space itself made me feel happy and relaxed. Enjoyed the BB guns but we ran out of time for archery, will have to give that a go next time!

My husband and I and 3 grandkids loved our 2 day stay there, so peaceful and beautiful. The ranch is fantastic so much to do and see. The guides are so attentive to ensure you enjoy yourself. The food was excellant and plenty. The music and dancing and bonfire was a hugh hit with all of us. Our 10 yr old learned a couple of line dances and now wants to go with us when we go dancing every saturday. She always said no before. I would give more stars if possible. We will defintely return.

Our family had the BEST time at the Bar SZ Ranch and the Borlands' hospitality was amazing. With all of the activities, my kids' favorite was feeding and getting to see all of the animals on the ranch!
