Somehow in booking my reservation for two people, the tickets were for different dates. I reached out to the contact email provided on the site to switch the date of the one ticket but never heard back. Bummer, but I still look forward to visiting on the date I originally planned for. I’m sure I’ll have a better review to leave after the actual visit.

The guided tour was well worth it. It was informative and fun to see the insides of the buildings. If you're interested in learning more about Earthships, definitely go see them!

Such a disappointment. Poorly organized, never saw a single earthship that was completed other than the visitors center main building, the girl that was simply walking her dog and giving a tour could not thoroughly answer questions about the construction techniques. There was trash everywhere and even though I know earthships are made of trash, it looks like trash piles everywhere. No wonder permitting is such a huge issue. What a ripoff! Just go tour a dump for free.

I enjoyed seeing the earth ships and learning about how the work can save the environment. You need help preventing soil erosion around the homes and increasing aesthetics. Much was said about raising your own food, but most of the plants observed were not food. Your planters were overgrown and neglected. I think a botanist could help with most of this.
