Really fun and interesting. Would be nice to see a more complete, lived in house rather than survival shelters but got a good idea how they work and will take some ideas into my own house for conservation

The visitor center was very nice and informative. We also booked the tour ($20 each) and the remainder of this review is about this. Our guide was knowledgable about building earthships, as he had built one himself. This was interesting, however we would have liked to find out more about the day-to-day of living in such a house and to be able to visit a house interior (bedroom, kitchen etc.). This info section was a little short and the tour was not as informative as I would have liked.

Wonderful and so inspiring. Our guide did a great job educating us about the science behind so many of the designs- I especially loved that he shared some of the design iterations over time and pointed them out in various structures we toured. He was clearly very knowledgeable about the systems supporting these homes and did a wonderful job breaking the info down in a way that we could understand as newcomers to the tech. Very cool space, very cool tour, very inspired to learn more!
