Melissa greeted me as I came in and even with her mask on she exuded enthusiasm about the Earthship concept. She was very engaging and helpful, answering all my questions. The buildings are simply amazing and it is obvious that they are a viable solution to helping us create a smaller, gentler footprint on the planet.

Guide spent way too much time reviewing information material in the room to the right of the entrance. Did enjoy touring the basic home and building across from the visitor's center.

When I bought my tickets the website stated masks would be worn. No one wore masks, not the people in the welcome center, not the person who led the tour, not the people on the tour. Informational tour, but not aware of Covid, I guess.
