One of the most fun days my brother and I have had fly fishing for trout, and we have been fly fishing in Montana for a very looong time. Kody is a fantastic guide (as are all the guides at Parks) patient and extremely knowledgeable, but still manages not to take himself too seriously. I will be fishing with Parks for as long as I can fog a mirror.

Met at the shop in Gardiner on Saturday morning, finalized all of the details and we were off to the Yellowstone river for a full day float. Rob, the Guide, was very good and was intimately fimiliar with the river, know where all the holes, hides and lies were located, and was very diligent about putting the boat in the right place. We started the morning nymphing which I am not very good at, detecting a strike being my problem, I probably missed more fish then I caught, my fault not Robs, nymphing is not something I am very fond of, prefering to fish Dry flies. The fish I caught nymphing were mostly by mistake, I would be setting up for another cast and surprise there was a fish there. We switched to dry flies about mid morning and I had much better luck with the fish. The weather was great but a little windy making Rod have to really work to keep the drift boat on track, but it was a great day

Trevor taught my 9 year old to cast his first fly rod. And he landed 25 western slope cutthroats in about 3 hrs. He even went back to the truck for snacks and bug spray. Could not have asked for a better experience on the water. Thank you!

Our major priority on this trip. Fly fishing on a creek or river is a sport Jeff really enjoys. And Debbie was introduced to the sport and so enjoyed the experience. Providing the equipment was greatly appreciated and the setting was beautiful and very relaxing. Trevor, our guide was exceptional, a very knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging individual. And he knows "fish" ! He engages in conversation easily and all our expectations were met. A great day all around.
