Captain Jason was knowledgeable and great with my teenaged kidos. Put us on over 10 species of "groundfish". Got to see finback whales, porpoises, and a shark as a bonus. My son said it was the best part of his vacation; Jason wore his arms out reeling in fish. Can't recommend him enough.

Cpt Jason was great. It was our first time and we did not know what to expect. He demonstrated how to bait and cast the poles properly. His boat was tidy and clean. Cpt Jason is very knowledgeable of the port history of Portland, explaining the batteries on the islands in the harbor that were used in WWII. Even though it was a bit chilly and raining, we had an awesome time. We cruised about the bay and to a couple of coves searching for fish. Unfortunately, we did not have a catch, but it is late in the season. We would fish with Cpt Jason again!

We had a great time on our ground fishing trip!! After a few canceled dates due to weather we were finally able to get out. Jason put us on the fish and the action never stopped. 4 of us and we must have pulled in 40-50 fish and one big blue shark!! We will definitely go again next summer!!
