Trip: Explore Boston’s Back Bay and Beacon Hill

My second tour with Ellen this time in Back Bay and Beacon Hill where I had not really visited before despite having been in Boston several times. This was an eye opening adventure with all the in-depth history that Ellen provides in her tours. She is a walking encyclopedia! But, she is a wonderful host who is a real pleasure to spend some of your time with about Boston. If you have not been to Back Bay and Beacon Hill much or at all, I encourage you to go see it with Ellen!!

This was our second tour with the fabulous Ellen, and once again, she exceeded our every expectation. If you have not yet met her yet, you are missing out. Ellen knows Boston and its history inside and out, and she is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Beyond that, she is fun, engaging, and has a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome and genuinely interesting. If she learns that you are curious about a particular topic or area, she thoughtfully tailors the tour to make sure those interests are discussed. I feel incredibly blessed to say that Ellen profoundly impacted my family when we first took her Rockstars of the Revolution tour ten years ago. At the time, my daughter was 11 and just beginning to realize how much she loved history and was considering studying it further. After meeting and speaking with Ellen, we saw how powerful it could be for her to “find herself” in history and truly embrace the past. Although my daughter could have taken many different paths, after being positively influenced by Ellen and with a lot of hard work, I am proud to say that she will be graduating this spring with a History degree and teaching licensure. So, can a tour change your life? Absolutely—if it’s with Ellen. We just completed the Remember the Ladies tour in the heart of winter, and despite the cold, it was wonderful and I highly recommend it for anyone. Do not miss the opportunity to tour with her, you never know what Ellen's influence will do. Ellen’s Freedom Trail walking tour was wonderful! She is knowledge, enthusiastic and engaging. She kept our group of moving right along and actively engaged at each stop with her stories and historical insight. We all agreed we could have listened to her for another few hours. So glad we signed up for this tour and found Ellen to do it with! There were many other large groups on the trail, thankful we were part of a smaller, more personalized tour. Thanks, Ellen!

Even though there were only 3 of us, Ellen gave us the full treatment and when 1 had a little medical issue she was very helpful and changed the walking part a little to accommodate us.
