2 of our sons and I did the North Rim of the Grand Canyon trip with Western Spirit Cycling earlier this September. We had been planning this trip for nearly a year and were so excited to get out there. I would say that the trip did not disappoint. The scenery, the trails, the guides, the food, the rental gear and our traveling companions made this a remarkable experience. I hope to continue doing Western Spirit trips in the future. A memorable experience in a very special place.

Trip: Telluride to Moab Mountain Bike

This is our third guided trip with Western Spirit. The itineraries are excellent - all outstanding destinations and something for whatever interests you. All three trips have been different locations, each outstanding. But the real value is in the guides. Laura has been our guide on all three trips, along with a different guide for the others. They are all OUTSTANDING. They're working from morning to night, preparing tasty meals, keeping our equipment working, and packing our gear onto trucks.

Gus and Tim were the typical Western Spirit guides - meaning they were personable and friendly, amazing talented chefs, mountain biking experts who shared their knowledge and enthusiasm, and all around fantastic guides. could not have asked for a better experience! Looking to do either Black Hills or Umpqua River next summer!

Gus and Tim were great! They did an amazing job of maintaining an organized camp and we’re both great biking guides. I think the only thing that would have improved the experience for me was more riding. We had really light riding days in the first and third days, and more riding would have been nice. We will definitely go on another western spirit trip!

Truly an epic adventure; loved every minute of it. Stunning tall grass prairie dissected by often steep sided draws with pinion/juniper/oak. Easy Mtn biking? - hardly; but the hard work paid off in stunning vistas. Will & Ben were fabulous guides as well as great cooks. Will & Ben’s easy going personalities set the tone for the trip. Overall, Western Spirit delivers great value for the money.
