Trip: Kokopelli Trail

My trip experience was a bit different from the experiences of the rest of the guests. My wife and I were supposed to be celebrating our anniversary together on the Kokopelli trip, but I came down with Lyme Disease. I knew I wouldn’t be up for the big miles, so I had to bow out. I wanted my wife to ride and enjoy the experience. The plan was for me to see her off in GJ and meet her in Moab at the end. Luke and Rob were gracious enough to allow me to drive our van to the lunch and camping spots so that I could at least enjoy the food and camaraderie. Although I was only able to do a short ride with the group, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. My wife and I are looking forward to our next Western Spirit trip

Well, to be honest, it felt like the guides were tired and would bark at us. They said they were both ending their time with Western Spirit at the end of the trip and were rather rude. I think they had short timers syndrome. The food was good, but the atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable

First time not doing my own adventure but this was super fun. Great guides, great food, great camping locations, and a good group of guests. Tina and Adam amazing. Really good at what they do and wonderful human beings to boot. Happy trails!
