Great trip, fabulous guides. Only complaint is that we would have liked to be told that it was half a mountain bike terrain, half gravel terrain. Several of us would have brought a different bike had we known. Another request is to hear more of the history/background of where we were. We have enjoyed this on other trips we’ve done with Western Spirit.

Generally a great trip. Food was excellent and the guides were great: friendly, knowledgeable, organized, etc. The trees and hikes were fantastic! The rides were fine for the kids and about what I'd expect for a family trip with young(ish) kids. My only complaint is that there really weren't options to ride any more difficult trails for the experienced adults. Holter Ridge, the one seemingly fun trail (even listed in the itinerary) wasn't an option for scheduling reasons that were unclear to me. The only other options for more riding were of the "10 extra road miles to the next campground" sort. Anyway, the point of this trip was for the kids and to see big trees and those goals were met in spades.

Thoroughly enjoyed our bike trip in the Black Hills. We had rain, cold, sun , heat and challenging swift water creek crossings..all things that made our experience special.

I enjoyed traveling this beautiful route with Britney and Frank. Both of them were fun and accommodating. The road was outs created challenges for logistics on RE routes but everything went smoothly. I enjoyed the trip very much.
