Trip: Introduction to Outdoor Rock Climbing (Full Day)

My good friend and I booked Chase for a day of climbing out in the Staunton state Park where he had great routes to get us rolling and increased the difficulty as we went, and we had a blast. Chase was knowledgeable and friendly and made sure to take his time getting us set up and made all feel comfortable the whole trip! A wealth of knowledge, he gave us lots of options of things to learn and lots of tips along the way! He offered us to learn lead climbing, setting up anchors for top rope, rappelling and more! When we arrived we had a brief including our expectations of the day and tailored our experience to what we were looking for! Not only would I recommend, but in the future he's secured a spot as a guide in my future! It was a real pleasure getting to know him and an experience I won't forget! 10/10 would recommend! Thanks for the memories, couldn't have the amazing trip without you!! Ps. He is great with kids, so I wouldn't hesitate bringing your little ones!!!

Took this trip with a good friend of mine, he had some experience in climbing but I had none. Was a bit nervous starting off as I have a fear of heights. Chase was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable of his craft. He throughly explained and demonstrated everything we needed to know making sure I felt comfortable and understood how it worked. Gave great tips and tricks as well while climbing the wall. I learned a ton and had an amazing day doing it, never felt in any danger and the heights didn’t bother me at all as I felt very secure. Would highly recommend Chase to any climber looking for a great day regardless of skill level! I have no doubt you’ll enjoy your experience.
