It was great to see them in person. I’ve wanted to come out there for a long, long time. James was an awesome tour guide yesterday. He’s very knowledgeable, and very personable. It was great to spend time learning more about Earthships and seeing passive solar merged with resource management. Outstanding. Will also be doing a Google review too.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, my son and I showed up 15 minutes late but the tour guide kindly gave us an extra 15 minutes after everyone else left to show us what we had missed and answer questions. This was very much appreciated!

I wish the tour included more content on the infrastructure/workings of earthship. The overview was a repeat of what I already read line. Wanted more detail, more visual showing related to functionality.

I have visited the Earthship visitor centre on previous visits to Taos but this is the first time to go on the guided tour. It was great to get a deeper dive into how the earthships are built with our friendly and informative guide.

So amazing to see how it is possible to live in a self-sustainable home. Our guide has lived in this Earthship Community for 9 years and another one was a student, which meant what we were hearing was based on first-hand experience.
