Ryan Pedersen

We had a great 2 day overnight training session to refresh old skills and learn some new ones. We spent time honing snowshoeing and crampons skills, self-arrest techniques, and setting up a snow camp. Ryan's extensive experience and skills were evident and he patiently helped us with gearing up, learning knots, and working thru roped travel on flat and steep terrain. His concern for our safety was always obvious - we shifted to 'plan b' when he judged snow conditions to be a bit less than optimal... and explained why. He made the training fun. A great experience that boosted confidence for our upcoming Andean adventure. Thanks Ryan!

Sport climbing with Ryan Petersen. Great half day. He hung the draws on the harder climbs and I was able to send an 11A on lead. He’s always very positive and encouraging. Great guy. Great guide.

Ryan was a wonderful guide, and picked great climbing spots based on our needs! We learned a lot, about the area. We are always looking to improve our climbing, so he showed us several ways to improve our technique, and was very supportive. We highly recommend using him as a guide, and we felt very safe that he knew what he was doing! We can’t wait to come back to Denver!
