About me

​Beyond the Edge was founded on a need for higher quality austere rescue and medical services, training and education. With almost no geographic limitations or climatic hindrances, we can provide medical and rescue security globally. Our elite rescue team is self-sufficient with "first-in" operations and we can provide our own logistics, clinical care and off grid communication networks.

We have also developed courses to give students the most current backcountry medical, rescue, and survival knowledge. To do this we spend thousands of hours training, receiving continuing education, and researching to find the most advanced technology, techniques and medical practices. Our courses are unique and cannot be found anywhere else. They are mentally and physically demanding and provide maximum learning opportunities with a hands-on and scenario based approach. Our courses can also be taught internationally for committed clients.
 
Our philosophy is that theory needs to be put into practice. All of our team members actively participate in mountain rescue missions, emergency 911 systems, Special Operations missions, or in trauma departments. With this caliber of operations staff, we provide world renowned, state of the art, education and expertise in all terrain and environment settings.
