Amos was very knowledgeable and informative whilst making the tours great fun. It was very warn and no fresh snow, but Amos found me some great snow 4 days on the trot.

We spent a great week skiing & snowboarding at various locations around Hokkaido with Aspen Expeditions. After record snowfall in December and the first few weeks of January, we hit an uncharacteristic dry, but sunny week. Our guides, Sunshine and Yukinori did a great job finding hidden powder stashes days after the last storm. We were initially based out of Otaru and later drove to Asahikawa for the last few days. We quickly fell into the rhythm of skiing/boarding, then soaking in the numerous local onsens and finished the day with an extravagant Japanese dinner, usually including the most delicious sashimi we had ever tasted. We finished the trip with tired legs and full stomachs. Can’t wait to go back!
