This was my first time climbing outdoor and it was amazing. Nina and John are very nice and kind person. They guided us with both patience and passion. Nina was fun that she kept interacting with us by letting us guess the state flower, state tree, state something ... of West Virginia. That was so interesting. I will definitely want to go climbing outdoor other times. They made me love this activity.

Excellent experience. Nina understood what my goals were for climbing, provided the structure for me to practice and gain confidence, and then I accomplished my goal of leading my first trad climb. This has been a goal for several years, but I was spinning my wheels taking more classes, buying more gear, reading more books. Nina knew what I needed in order to have the confidence in myself to do it. And I did! Three routes! I am already planning on trad climbing with friends to keep at it. Thank you Nina!!

Wonderful time on my first excursion with new river mountain guides! Nina had a great outline for me, a newbie to outdoor climbing. She provided excellent education for safety intertwined with about 10 climbs that helped me get ready for the tough climbs at the end of the day. I will definitely use this guide company again. In the future!

I had a wonderful time climbing with Nina through NRMG! I went with the half-day option and we covered a lot of ground in the Junkyard. Nina was excellent! She was super knowledgeable, safe, positive, and patient. Prior to this trip, I had only climbed indoors and she picked a variety of awesome routes that made it a memorable day. I can't wait to visit the area again and definitely would climb again with Nina!
