Sara is passionate about sharing impactful and transformative outdoor adventures with others while creating a safe environment. They spent ten years raft guiding on rivers in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, leading trips since 2014. She spent four years training and managing seasonal teams to guide single and multi-day adventures on the Deschutes River for youth and marginalized communities, with a focus on developing programs to be more inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally competent.Certifications

Malachi and Melody really enjoyed this trip. Malachi said he saw something like a wholly mammoth then Godzilla. He went on a cool kayak and saw low end of the totem poll. He saw some cool fungi. And enjoyed the smell of hazelnut and huckleberry. It was also informative getting to learn about how much garbage is on the earth.

Great snowshoeing trip to Mt. Rainier! Lorelei and Sara were fun and easy going. We had lots of fun playing in the snow in the sunshine. Definitely will do more future trips with Sahale Outdoors! Thank you Lorelei and Sara for being awesome guides!:)

My 9 year old had so much fun on this trip! He tried snowshoeing for the first time, got to play and dig in the snow too, and met some new friends to play with. The guides were amazing and I felt he was in good hands as soon as I met them. Highly recommend. We will book another hike with Sahale Outdoors for sure!

My son attended today and said he got a bloody nose from older girl. He loves today and the adventure but got hit by another kid from a different grade and claimed he told one of the hikers but the little girl didn’t say sorry.
