About me
Hey! My name is Sam. I am a rock climber, guide, and overall adventurer from New Hampshire. I was born in Massachusetts but moved to New Hampshire to be closer to nautre and all the fun things I like to do. I am currently a college student studying Adventure Education at Plymouth State University. Through Adventure Education, I found my passion for guiding and teaching. This being my second season working as a guide, I am excited to share what I know about the activities I love. Obviously I love climbing, but I also love hiking, backpacking, paddeling, and just having fun outside. And I absolutely love sharing that passion and enjoyment I find outdoors with others!

We went over to Otter Cliffs after a rainy day that cleared up and it was the right choice. Sam guided us that Otter would dry up the fastest out of everywhere else is in the park. It was the absolute right move!! We had an amazing time.

Sam also works as a Ski Instructor for kids during the winter. He was patient and encouraging, told great stories about the island and gave a great recommendation for food in Bar Harbor. We had a blast rock climbing for the first time.

Sam was wonderful with our kids! Our 6 year old was nervous but really wanted to climb. Sam did a great job navigating that with encouragement but not pressure. Would recommend as a great family activity regardless of climbing experience!
