Will was an excellent guide! There was a range of experience and abilities amongst our group and he was very quick to put everyone at ease and therefore facilitate everyone's learning. Being completely inexperienced I did not feel uncomfortable taking part in activities, practice scenarios and drills because Will had a friendly and encouraging manner. He answered questions and addressed concerns and I felt I learned a lot and gained understanding about the basics of avalanche rescue from spending the day with Will and will have a base level of competence upon which to build. Will was our guide. He contacted us the day before to let us know meet up time and expectations of the trip. He met us at our hotel in Aspen and fitted us for our gear. He transported us to the nearby climbing area. He was very patient and encouringing throughout the climb, which was helpful as we were beginners. He helped make our wedding trip memorable! Would highly recommend.

The Class was amazing! Excellent training that is essential for any back-country touring... The final scenario they made us do was really well done and made us all have to work together as a cohesive team to find all the buried victims!

We had an awesome time on our level 1 avalanche course. I definitely recommend the hut trip way! Will and Scott were extremely knowledgeable and patient with the team as we each went through the process of companion rescue, trip planning, understand our equipment and of all the other fundamentals that go into the avalanche course. I felt completely safe and in great hands through the entire trip. I will definitely be taking more courses and hopefully spending more time in the backcountry because of them.
