Caleb Beverstock

About me

Caleb is from the far distant land of Virginia and began climbing at Triangle Rock Club in Richmond, VA circa 2022. Soon after learning to lead, he journeyed to the New River Gorge in search of sandstone. There the passion for climbing grew into something that could not be ignored and next thing you know, he has traveled around the East Coast in search of excellent climbing. From the horizontals of the Gunks to the granite domes of Rumbling Bald, he always finds himself back at the New. Along the way, he realized that sharing the knowledge he learned with others was just as satisfying as clipping chains. This pushed him into pursuing an SPI certification and landing work at New River Mountain Guides. Caleb loves being able to help others realize what they are capable of, especially in rock climbing. Recently, Caleb moved to the NRG and is settling in nicely. The New is an amazing place for all climbing disciplines so there's plenty that'll keep him busy. When not climbing, he is painting miniatures for Warhammer, reading, writing and is still trying to understand the best way to wear a bandana.
