About me

MK has been an avid birder since childhood. They have birded all over the country and are enthusiastic about showing people the link between thoughtful, conservation-minded land management and ecosystem health. MK worked as an avian field technician, studying grassland birds on the prairies of Kansas, wetland species in North Dakota, and Red-headed Woodpeckers in the forests of Michigan. They cannot wait to show you the bird life of Paicines Ranch and the grazing practices that help mold the landscape!
