Genevive and Athe were such knowledgeable and patient teachers whose climbing backgrounds complemented each other well. I felt physically safe and also psychologically safe learning in a space where I saw so much of myself reflected. This was a weekend of exploration, connection, holding, and joy. Major props to Genevive and Athe for cultivating this special community. I was surrounded by folks who kept the stoke high on a rainy Gunks weekend, were so eager to soak up new skills, and were passionate about uplifting their own communities.

It was a great trip! Genevive was supportive and informational. I learned a lot and she was very open to helping everyone at different levels. Having a smaller group was really nice. I will definitely do another trip!

BIPOC Climb & Camp was an incredible, well-organized weekend to learn and collaborate with fellow climbers in my community. It made a world of difference to access the Red River Gorge in an affinity space and see some of my intersectional identities reflected back by the guides, Genevive and Cat, who are stellar humans. Thank you for creating a transformative space where I could grow and push the edges of my comfort zone.

It was the perfect trip. Cat and Genevieve are world class instructors. They are passionate, friendly, skilled, and safety oriented. We had a great group of people who love to climb and learn new skills. The location of Red River Gorge is great due to the camp site, restaurants, gas stations, crag locations, and gear shops.
