About me
I am the founder and CEO of Hike for Life--a Springs based outdoor education and hiking guide service devoted to helping you explore! I have over 40 years of outdoor experience and have climbed 48 of the 14,000 ft peaks in CO. I screen, train and certify guides for Hike for Life that have a passion for nurturing community, inspiring others to explore responsibly and helping to preserve our great outdoors. We have a great group of guides with eclectic professional backgrounds: AF pilots, elementary education, medical student, crafts instructor, realtor, small business owners and entrepreneurs! All guides are CPR & first aid certified. Many have additional certifications and experience--contact us for specifics. It was absolutely fantastic! Bruce was knowledgeable, funny, and encouraging. Us flat landers from Michigan were able to summit Pikes Peak from Crags with the help of Bruce. I would highly recommend that even if you know where you are going to hire a guide. It makes it so much more rewarding and safe.

I went on 2 fabulous trips with hike for life one to pancake rock and the other in bear creek regional park. I had the most amazing guides Bruce and Britt. I would do it all over again.
