The Fisher Chimneys route on Mt. Shuksan is one of the most diverse climbs in the country. This route comprises of rock scrambling with a pack up to low 5th class, steep snow/ice climbing, complex glacier travel, and finally a 5.6 ridge to the summit. Following is a technical descent back down the route. The camp is one of the most beautiful in the cascades. From your tent you will be staring out at the mighty Mount Baker. The sunset and rise from this camp is one of the highlights of the trip. On day one of this climb we will go to a local crag and dial in all the necessary skills to climb this route safely.
