This route entails climbing and descending the Easton Glacier. It is comprised of  7000 ft of glaciated fall line skiing. The max angle is about 35 degrees coming down what is known as the Roman Wall. During our 3 day program you will spend one day working on all the ski mountaineering techniques and finding beautiful powder runs to sink your teeth into. Mt. Baker is a beautiful summit and one of the greatest moderate glaciated ski descents in the country.

 

3 Day Trip Itinerary 

• Day 1: Arrive in Sedro Wooley, WA for breakfast and gear check. Drive to trailhead and ascend to camp. 
• Day 2: Work on ski mountaineering skills including snow anchors, rope team travel, when to use the rope, crevasse rescue, steep skiing techniques, and many more. Also, we will ski some powder laps near camp.
• Day 3: Ascend to the summit and drop in for 7,000 vertical feet of fall line descent. After packing up camp we will ski back to the car.

2 Day Itinerary
