This one day course is intended to help current SPI's and SPI candidates (those who have taken a course but not an exam) prepare for the AMGA SPI EXAM. This is not a complete course and there is no certification attached to this day. It is to help prepare for the exam process.
This program has been developed at a reducred rate to add value to an SPI's education and mentorship process and to cover the basic costs associated with running a programatic day.
The Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) Program teaches climbing instructors to proficiently facilitate and instruct the sport of rock climbing in a single pitch setting. The SPI is the only internationally recognized single pitch climbing instructor certification program in the United States. It was developed to fit in the AMGA Rock program.
