All participants are required to be on tourings skis or splitboard for the field portion.

The date for the course start is the first day of the field session. There will be approximately 5 hours of self-directed online learning that students must complete prior to the field session. There will also be a 3 hour zoom two nights before the field session. If the start date of your program is Saturday, the online zoom happens Thursday night from 6-9 PM ET.

Students are responsible for person equipment, food, travel, lodging and internet access during the program. Let us know if you'd like to demo Mammut Avalanche Safety Equipment -- shovel, beacon and probe included in the cost of the program.

All courses take place on Mount Washington in the White Mountain National Forest
