We’ll take the teens, you enjoy a Valentine’s weekend together. This overnight backpacking trip is an introduction to winter camping for young people between the ages of 12-18.

Tuition: $175

 

*What to Expect

• This is a beginner’s journey, so prepare for an approachable challenge, hiking 4-5 miles on day 1 and 2-3 miles on day 2

• Beginner winter backpacking lessons, including best practice packing and essential gear guide

• A pre-hike meeting to help you feel prepared 

• Meal provisions 

• Activities designed to build community with others in an outdoor setting

• Pre-Hike meeting to support preparedness and confidence

• Relevant backpacking instruction 

• Dinner, breakfast, and after hike snack

• Transportation back to starting point

• Tent

• Parking/Entrance fees to state parks or other paid areas
