Red River Gorge geologic area is a system of canyons and cliffs in southeastern Kentucky. Located primarily in the Daniel Boone Natinal Forest, it is a popular hiking destination due to its myriad arches and sandstone formatins. It is also an international destination for rock climbers with over 3000 established routes!

What to expect:

  • We will share accomodations in a large group cabin. Rooms may be shared or reserved individually for a fee.  

  • Group practice on site as well as opportunities to practice outdoors in the natural environment.

  • Vegetarian breakfasts and dinners will be communal, prepared by our expert camp chefs each day. Lunches will be on the go and self-serve, with ingredients decided upon by the group. Dinner at the world famous Miguel's will be an option on night 2. 

  • You will have a choice between down time for meditation and reflection, active exploration of the surrounding arches and cliffs, or a combination of both!

Included in your tuition:

  • 2 nights accommodations

  • 2x Daily Yoga and Meditation

  • 1 half day of guided rock climbing (optional)

  • Guided day hikes and other activities

  • Meals in camp and during activities

 

Not included:

  • Transportation to Red River Gorge

  • Meals out- one night’s dinner will be on your own (option)

 Optional Activities

One half day of rock climbing at the Practice Wall is included. The Practice Wall is a fantastic place to learn, with an easy approach hike and short, well protected routes to learn on. 

Day hiking options include a trip down a river canyon, or seeking out arches in Daniel Boone National Forest.
