Making last minute plans? This is the perfect trip for folks and families visiting the New River Gorge National Park who want to try their hand at rock climbing.
This four-hour trip is ideal for anyone who is brand new to climbing, but is open to all ability levels and ages. We provide all of the equipment and create a customized climbing experience for you and the other members of your party (if applicable).
During your trip, you'll spend your time top-rope climbing and rappelling. Plus:
- Equipment fitting and proper use
- Figure-8 knot for tying into the rope
- Communication and partner checks
- Lots of climbing
- Top rope belaying
- Rappelling
- Scenic views of the Gorge
All of our trips are private sessions led by one of our AMGA Certified Single Pitch Instructors. We operate with a 4:1 ratio and your dedicated instructor will be able to customize the trip to match your experience and goals.
