Is Alex the right guide for you? Alex spends equal amounts of time teaching and coaching as he does climbing larger objectives. Guiding since 2008 and a college instructor of Advenutre Education since 2012. In addition, Alex is a AMGA Single Pitch Instrctor Porvider and American Institute for Avalance Research and Education Instructor.
Alex is an AMGA Certifed Mountain Guide and IFMGA Licensed Guide. This means he holds the highest level of training available in the world. Including but not limited to: Certifed Rock Guide, Certifeid Alpine Guide, Certifed Ski Guide, Certifed Single Pitch Instructor, SPI Program Provider, American Avalanche Association Professional Member and Professional Track Level 2, AIARE Recreational Course Instructor.
Alex believes that guiding is so much more than just putting the rope up. It is about creating an experience that not only adds to the quality of life of his guests, it also expands their relationship with the Earth and with themselves. “Creating experiences for growth is what I enjoy most about my work. The guests I climb with the most become my friends, and I get to watch them transform into climbers and planet activists.” As a father, business owner, teacher and experienced guide he has a keen sense of risk and how to manage it to create unforgettable experiences for his guests.
