The half-day trip is perfect for anyone new to climbing, those short on time, and all ages. It's a great way to experience climbing and check out the New River Gorge National Park.
During your trip, you'll spend the time top-rope climbing and rappelling, those new to climbing will learn the basics such as:
- Equipment fitting and proper use
- Figure-8 knot for tying into the rope
- Communication and partner checks
- Climbing movement on a variety of climbs
- Top rope belaying
- Rappelling
Have previous climbing experience? No problem, our instructors will tailor your time together to meet you at your level and maximize climbing time.
Our trips are private sessions led by one of our AMGA Certified Single Pitch Instructors. We operate with a 4:1 ratio and your dedicated instructor will be able to customize the trip to match your experience and goals.
