Such an excellent trip/course! A strong complement to an anyone with an Avy1 course -- this is where you really dive into the nitty-gritty of rescue fundamentals, refreshers on core skills (E.g. how to most effectively shovel, both individually and as a team), extra practice (and targeted discussion) at all the various different scenarios that might arise in a burial situation. I'm really grateful that I know my beacon better, and I finally understand how to using the flagging function (and its limitations) in a multiple burial scenario. What an excellent course to do regularly (I will do it annually or at least every 2 years) and will strongly encourage all my partners to do it next year as well.

Everything went smoothly, from the booking to the end. Booking was easy, all of the instructions were helpful. We were contacted prior to the trip to confirm everything. It was a good experience and we learned just what we needed to, with plenty of flexibility to focus on what we wanted. I recommend this course and would do it again.
