NM | Photography | Moonscape Photography in Bisti Badlands

If you've ever wanted to take better landscape photographs in desert environments, we'll spend a day at the other-worldly Bisti Badlands in New Mexico to work in a range of light and in bizarre landscapes. We meet at 10am and end at sunset.

You can bring any camera from a point and shoot Sony Powershot to a professional Canon. It's ok if you want to bring your phone camera too; there's plenty to learn on those as well.

We'll have easy to moderate hiking as you explore your surroundings for photographing.

The lesson and hike can be adjusted according to the participants' capabilities. What you can expect to learn:

—Getting comfortable exploring in the wilderness
—Composition
—Basic principles of ISO, exposure, shutter speed, and aperture
—AV, TV, and Manual settings on your camera
