About Me: With extensive regional and international river guiding experience, I'm also an American history enthusiast. Fluently bilingual (in English & German) I have lived in Portland for more than 30 years. A former global river guide I "rowed" with the Oregonian river explorer/ adventurer Ken Warren. I'm well educated on the Lewis & Clark Expedition (as assigned by President Thomas Jefferson for the extension of the United States to the Pacific Ocean). And much, much more... In these approximate contexts I'm able to customize tours and / or provide standard tour packages that feature the best destination highlights Portland, Oregon and southern Washington have to offer (from Fort Vancouver to the "Emerald Gate," where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean). As an independent documentary cameraman / filmmaker, my availability for providing tours can be adjusted according to demand. Let's talk prior to your bookings!
Certifications I Have: More than four decades of regional and international expedition-travel and adventure-guiding experience
