CA | Hike | Palm Springs Skyline Trail

SKYLINE TRAIL in Palm Springs! VERY STRENUOUS TRAIL FOR ADVANCED HIKERS. Travel from the Palm Springs valley floor to the Palm Springs Tramway @ 8400'. The best winter training and conditioning for serious adventurers. Locals use this hike for Whitney and Sierra conditioning. It is also the toughest section of the Cactus to Clouds hike. To complete a C2C you need to be familiar with and condition on this trail. This is an extreme trail and difficult to navigate. It requires a high fitness level. Many rescues are conducted on a weekly basis on Skyline. Fatalities do occur. Many get lost or are not prepared for the nature of this trail. 10 MILES & 8200' GAIN. FULL EXPOSURE. 6-9HRS. AVAILABLE MOST WEEKENDS PENDING WEATHER CONDITIONS. You are required to provide your own ONE-WAY TRAMWAY FEE EST. $15 DOWN TO THE VALLEY STATION. THE UBER/LYFT FEE FOR RETURN TO THE MUSEUM IS INCLUDED. I CAN BE FLEXIBLE WITH DATES.
