CO | Bike | MTB Cheyenne Canyon

Cheyenne Canyon has some of the most diverse riding in the area. Being a large front range canyon, this ride will bring you INTO the mountains!

With expansive views of the plains (where you can almost see the curvature of the earth!) to breathtaking views of the mountains above, theres nothing like riding here. Cheyenne Canyon also offers the most elevation change (up to 1000+ft.) with trails that start at the bottom of the valleys and wind up through the hills. This factor also allows for some awesome shuttles and downhill riding. My friends and I often park one car at the bottom and take one car to the top! Mostly downhill, so it makes for a really fun ride!

Set at higher elevation with possible patches of snow and mostly granite gravel trails, conditions can be treacherous at times so good equipment, tires specifically, are key to a good ride here.

Some of the most true, "Colorado" type of mountain biking in the area.
