Come take a hike in San Diego's beautiful backcountry! This trail is a little under 5 miles and takes around 3 hours to complete. Halfway up to the summit begins a section of fun scrambling over rocks and through a cave. The top of the summit features gorgeous views of the surrounding hills. Being a shorter hike, there is also plenty of time to explore the rocks on the summit, or bag a second, adjacent peak. The hike is exposed pretty much the entire way, so a hat and/or sunscreen is recommended.
